The sun in the sky 

brings us our light 

The moon in the sky 

brings us our night 

There is a wanting 

inside of each of our hearts 

and from each other's kidness 

is where it starts 

The sun gives to us 

all of its light, 

like we should keep each other 

in our sight. 

The moon is the enemy, 

bringing us darkness 

making it hard 

for us to even start this 

We must put each other 

in front of ourselves 

For through this kindness 

is where the feeling dwells 

The feeling of being wanted 

this is what everyone desires 

To be forgiven 

and put out old fires 

So we must help 

everyone we can
